The Property
River Cottage is a charming, traditional cottage overlooking the river, perfect for romantic getaways or time with family and friends. It features a cozy living room with vintage decor and exposed beams, a well-equipped kitchen, and a downstairs bathroom . The French-style bedroom boasts a superb super king-size bed. Just 250 yards from Chatsworth Park Estate, the cottage is surrounded by cafes, restaurants, and countless local walks. With secure bike storage in the rear yard, it’s an ideal base for food lovers, cyclists and hikers. Please note, due to varying levels, it’s not suitable for those with mobility issues. Includes parking for one car, WiFi, and one well-behaved medium sized dog (e.g, labrador - more dogs by arrangement).

Getting Here
River Cottage is very close to the main footpath into Chatsworth Park (250 yards). There are good pubs and cafes very close by who are dog friendly. The main A623 road through the village is close by linking to Bakewell, Sheffield and Chesterfield. Very good bus service from Chesterfield rail station to the bus stop at Nether End, Baslow which is 200 yard level walk from Cottage. Wonderful walks through Chatsworth Park, Baslow Edge and Curbar Edge.
